Happy New Year, Gators! The 2025 summer league swim season is just around the corner and plans are underway to make this a great Gator season. We need a few Gator parents to fill our open board positions. If you are interested in one of these positions, please email our president Robbie Morrow. Serving in one of these roles fulfills your volunteer requirement for the season. Join us and help make this the best Gator season yet.

Lifeguard Coordinator: The Lifeguard Coordinator hires and manages our lifeguards for practices and communicates with the pool company to ensure we have lifeguards for meets. This is a great entry-level board position.

Awards Coordinator: The Awards Coordinator orders, assembles, and organizes swimmer and volunteer awards, including meet ribbons, goodie bags, trophies, etc. This person works closely with the Events committee in preparation for our end-of-season banquet/awards night.

Fundraising–Flag Coordinator: The Flag Coordinator manages the flag team and organizes all aspects of the flag program. Tasks include advertising the program, collection of money, flag storage, and flag placement and pickup five times throughout the year.

We also need parents to volunteer to be officials. This is a fun way to get involved, learn the rules, and watch the meets up close. Training is provided. Contact Mac McEacharn for more information about becoming an official and to volunteer.
